My Trips

After my divorce, I wondered how I could take advantage of the 6 weeks of vacation time we get in Denmark.

The solution I came up with was to combine travel with photography, and mostly to travel solo. Since I love to plan, I often made detailed plans before each trip.

When I decided to create this website, it occurred to me that I could share not just the pictures of the places I visited (which I do in the Places and Strangers sections), but also my travel routes, any blog or journal entries I created while travelling, and show the pictures in the order that I created them, along with the titles I gave each picture.

I actually enjoyed coming up for titles for many of my pictures, and I think they add a lot to my “art”.

In other words, my Trip pages could give more of my experience when I travelled, not just the pictures. This is interesting for me, although it may be too much for some. You can decide which you prefer.
