I have considered myself a feminist since I was a teenager (when the term most likely meant something different to many people).

Once concern I had about women working as professional models was the fear that they may have a very short career.

So when Ivana mentioned that she was putting together a new venture to bring photographers and models together, I liked the idea of a model both providing work to other models and building an additional source of income. Most of the other similar events I had heard of were run by (usually male) photographers.

I signed up to attend and took part in the first three events she held.
