Ella
When I visited Ukraine to attend Nadin’s wedding, I decided to try booking my own models while traveling.
In a way, this was a continuation of learning to design my own solo landscape photography trips after going on several trips with Lee Frost, and learning to travel with models.
I used Model Mayhem and chose two models to shoot with in Kiev, Ella and Evelina. Both were so wonderful to work with.
Ella was quite young when I first met her, but already quite sophisticated in her modelling skills.
Later, I offered to host her for a visit to Denmark. As always, I told her that taking pictures would be optional. I spent some time both showing her the city and we did take pictures. I was quite pleased to see some of her less guarded sides showing, giving me the feeling that I was getting to know her as a person as well as a model.
