I usually arrive to group sessions early so that I have time to settle in.

During the waiting time before this session, I noticed that another early attendee was looking at me and sketching. We made eye contact briefly and I smiled to indicate that I was onboard as a subject if that’s what he wanted.

After the session, I happened to walk close to him to return the board I used to hold my sketchpad while drawing, and he handed me his portrait of me.

Quite nice! I put that as the first page below, since he finished before I got started with my sketches. In my opinion, he got better results than I managed that evening. ;)
