Cuba - people

When I signed up to join Lee Frost on his Cuba Photo Adventure, my main hope was that I would manage to take a few good shots of people, especially old people with wisdom etched into the lines on their faces.

As you can see, I managed to get a lot more than I had hoped for!

The people in Cuba love having their picture taken. As Lee put it, they live in a beautiful country and they are proud of it.

It was especially wonderful to see how safe the children there were. As one of my fellow travellers from England put it, as we took pictures of the uniformed children making their way to school, “We’d be put in jail for doing this back home!”

Of course, as many of these pictures show, Cuba is also a beautiful place, and you can see more evidence in the Cuba place page.

This gallery collects my pictures of the people. To read about my experience and see the titles I’ve given each picture, visit the trip page.
