Maruska
Maruska was the first model to contact me on Model Mayhem with an offer to shoot together. I accepted and felt terribly excited and nervous. I prepared a huge number of “inspiration” photos. After we had recreated a number of them, she finally suggested that I just let her pose on her own and create our own work.
This was good advice and over the years I’ve learned to find a better balance between preparing before a shoot and leaving myself open to spontaneity.
