When I first encountered her, she described herself as an erotic model. During our first shoot, I explained that she did not need to make poses explicit if she did not want to, and if I asked her to do anything she wasn’t comfortable with, she could just say no.

She obviously had no respect for this perspective. “Ha! What if I don’t want to do anything you suggest?”

As for making her poses explicit, she did so within the first few minutes of our shooting together and continued to do so whenever she got the chance. This was quite a contrast with most models, who are often quite effective at avoiding showing any part of their body which they consider private, even when shooting nude.

As someone who respects a woman’s right to choose, I do my best to avoid taking pictures that the model does not want me to take, and definitely not sharing pictures that models do not want seen.

With Faith, my challenge was sometimes taking the pictures that Faith wanted me to take, and even then, sharing pictures once taken. Our book contains many pictures that, while I admit I like them, I’m too embarrassed to include on this page.

Having said all this, I must also say that Faith was extremely good at her job. She was a fountain of countless ideas and interesting concepts. When I wasn’t feeling pushed beyond my boundaries, I was often having fun.
